He has some food guarding behaviours and when out of his comfort zone he can become unpredictable is at risk of making the wrong decisions. He does have some issues that require ongoing training and an experienced adult only home. He's very energetic and loves to go for long walks and runs and is very affectionate with people he knows. Hector is a very smart boy who now knows a lot of commands like sit, wait, down, here and lay. She forms a strong bond with people and would be best in an adult only home where she can be the only dog and the apple of someone's eye. She can be reactive in certain situations and so is looking for adopters with plenty of experience. Mabel is an excitable and confident girl who walks well on a lead. She is a lively and active girl who is looking for an adult only home, with someone with breed experience and with another playful dog.
When she arrived she was extremely frightened, but since then she has started to come out of her shell and will now even walk on a lead to the sand school. She will need time, love and patience for her to progress into a confident little girl.Īloha has come on so well since she arrived with us. She is a flight risk so we are looking for a calm home for Mandy with someone home most of the time. Mandy is in a foster home but is a very scared girl who needs an experienced adopters to give her the life she deserves. Keel does need a secure garden with a minimum of 6ft fencing and a home with at least one other dog. He's also really good when travelling in the car. He is doing really well in his foster home and his house training is almost 100% and he loves his walks. Keel arrived at Many Tears a very scared boy and although he can still be a little scared of things it doesn't stop him from wanting to be around people he comes for a fuss and for treats. Glitter likes to have a safe place to go to when she's worred and is looking for calm, gentle and quiet adult only home with owners who have all the time, love and patience in the world to offer her. She is very worried about men and has been known to nip in fear but loves her foster mum is getting braver all the time. Glitter is a girl that needs a very special home, with someone who has lots of patience. Bob loves people and has been used to being alone so we feel he could be an only dog in the right home. He is a wonderful boy and despite his lack of vision he is friendly, affectionate and everything you could wish for. She is a little cautious of people, but with the promise of some treats you’ll quickly win her over.īob Marley used to be a working sheepdog but when he lost his sight he also lost his job and has lived his life on a chain ever since. Holland has limited eyesight but she can see a little. She arrived very matted and sore but was such a good girl being clipped and seemed to appreciate our efforts despite not being used to being handled much. Holland is a girl in need of a very special home. She is making slow but steady progress in the rescue but needs an experienced forever home to help her confidence with people and get used to the outside world at a slow and gentle pace. Lily is a beautiful but very scared beagle who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. Day after day they are overlooked - maybe because they are not cute and fluffy, or simply too scared to come forward and be seen and occassionlly they are a dog that needs that little bit of extra care or work to enable them to become part of someone's life.
